Bicentenary Thanksgiving service was held on the 9th of April. The date was chosen because it happened to be the 228th birth anniversary of our dear Founder Principal Mrs Harriet Winslow. The service was presided by the Bishop of JDCSI Rt Rev. Dr. V. Pathmathalayan and attended by CSI clergy, clergy representatives of other denominations, members of the Board, representatives of Minstry of Education. Heads of schools, past pupils, past teachers and staff, parents, teachers and students. The primary , junior and senior sections were represented in the choir who sang so melodiously and enthusiaastically.
After the service, a wreath was laid at the memorial stone of Ms Harriet Winslow, located inside the Church of Good Shepherd. The Choir sang 'Be Thou my Vision' , and prayers were offered, ending with the singing of all three verses of the College Song.
